Course Information – May

Hi Members and guests.

The cool season has arrived; temperatures have dropped quite rapidly over the last couple of weeks. Growth is starting to decline so mowing is becoming less frequent. Still this a very busy time of year for us with the installation of cart paths, irrigation, drainage, garden and tree work.
There have been a couple of issues that have been raised by members. These issues are mainly directed at players not raking bunkers after themselves and players not repairing there own pitch marks on the greens, please help make a difference in the presentation and playability of the course by rectifying these issues. It is every player’s responsibility.

With the growing season over, wear from high traffic areas and divots on tees will start to become an issue as it will take a lot longer to repair. To prevent excessive wear on tees we will be now placing markers away from there plates, these areas will be reserved for monthly medals and any other special competitions that may arise.

Thank you for your time and please accept our apologies for any inconveniences.

Happy Golfing
