Reciprocal Clubs

Conditions:

• Members of Reciprocal Clubs wishing to use the course facilities must advise of the Reciprocal agreement at the time of booking.

• Members shall be required to show proof of Membership and current playing handicap

• Members of Tier 1 reciprocal clubs will receive privileges given to its own members in the equivalent category of membership.

• Visiting members of reciprocal clubs playing in the Club’s open competition are ineligible to win a Club championship, monthly medal or donated trophies.

• Members who reside within 100 kilometres radius of a reciprocal club are not eligible to avail of these benefits

FEEDBACK:

Hello Nerine, Jo and I had to travel to Mornington Peninsula for work last week.  Having seen that Wollongong now has a reciprocal arrangement with Rosebud Country Club we decided to stay at the club and extend our visit to play at Rosebud on Saturday.  I managed to play a few holes after work on Thursday and then we both played in the mixed Saturday Par competition.  It was a cold windy day and I shot -4.  Jo shot -1 and came second in cat B, getting herself cut to 33.  One of our playing partners, Barbara, had the round of the day and comfortably had the best score with +6.

More importantly, the experience of phoning the club to book accommodation and golf, the welcome we received, the service and quality of the View Restaurant, and the quality of both the course and accommodation were all first class.  The ladies we played with were lovely and tried to persuade us to return for the mixed on Sunday, but unfortunately, this was not possible.

I would like to congratulate the club for setting up the reciprocal arrangement between Wollongong and Rosebud, and would 100% recommend Rosebud, the restaurant and the accommodation to all our members. Thanks, Pat and Jo Vincent.
