Hello Sarah & Tim,
I am just writing to thank you both for your attention to detail for out Charity Day last week.
The large number of ladies provided you with a big challenge I'm sure but it all went off smoothly.
The food was well received & I did not hear of one complaint.
Please thank the staff involved in the preparation and service of the food & drinks.
I'm sure that they were all tired after such a big day but each person did their part with good humour which in turn can only reflect on the reputation of the club & Saltwater Grill.
The fundraising on the day allowed us to donate $2,500:00 to the work of the Illawarra Breast Cancer Lymphoedema clinic. The donation of wine from Graham & the $50.00 voucher from the restaurant which were used as prizes in the raffle helped along with other items donated by our lady members, to sell many tickets so that our raffle contributed over $700.00 towards that final figure.
Please pass on to all concerned my thanks & that of ladies committee. Your effort is applauded.

Ladies Committee 12/06/11 |
Dear Tim,
On behalf of the ladies committee I am writing to thank you & your staff for the co-operation & service which was very much appreciated on the recent Breast Cancer Charity Day.
The whole operation went smoothly & the large number of women where fed in a short space of time.
There have been many comments of praise about the quality of the food provided & I want to pass that on to you & your staff as it is well deserved. We had a lot of visitors on the day as well as our own members & these comments came from not only our own ladies but visitors as well.
I also have been asked to comment on the the regular daily specials on a Thursday. This initiative has been well recieved by our membership & we do appreciate the effort that you have made to provide a low cost menu that is popular & gives variety. I'm not sure as to number regularily taking up this option but should you continue this then I'm sure that many more of the ladies will be tempted by what you offer.
Lastly I want to thank you for considering our proposal for our last Pennant match. The soup was delicious & the ladies appreciated the indivdually served sandwiches. Taking pre-orders before their match was a good option & there was no cause for complaint although as we both know there will always be someone who does complain. I think that this is a plan we should continue with in the future for Pennant lunches however I believe that we have only one more to go this year, but it is something we should consider again for 2012 as we will be involved again with these events.
You personally have made a significant difference to the restaurant at the golf club. We appreciate that you are prepared to consider different options & work with us. Thank you so much .

Breast Cancer Charity Day 12/06/11 |

Hi there,
I wanted to email and say how impressed I was with the food and service on Saturday night! The staff were extremely helpful and understanding when we had a few late arrivals (delaying our entrees) and a couple of unexpected additions. In particular, Sharon from the main bar, was very helpful and did not make us feel like we were putting anyone out. Overall it was a fabulous night and I would recommend your venue for future functions.
Bronwyn Johnson coordinated the event with your staff (and I was her side-kick) so apologies for not knowing the names of the Functions people who assisted with the pre-organising of the night as I believe they were most helpful too.
