Leading the innovated culinary team at Wollongong Golf Club is Head Chef John Ikin. Originally from Campbelltown NSW, Chef Ikin has worked in some of Sydney’s exclusive venues and restaurants including Garfish Kirribilli, Uccello @ the ivy, Royal Botanical Gardens Restaurant just to name a few.
The key to Chef Ikin’s success has always been surrounding himself with talented people and diving passionately into his position. Along the way, he has proven exceptional at expanding his knowledge of local ingredients and culinary technique to assure uniqueness on the plate.
His ambition is “To continuously enhance my culinary skills as well as experience other countries and cultures.”
